All quotations are fixed price and valid for 30 days. No variation charges will be raised for works included in the written quotation. Additional works identified during the project will be agreed in writing before proceeding.
Payment terms are agreed at quotation stage. Standard terms: deposit on acceptance, balance on completion. We accept bank transfer and cheque. VAT at 13.5% applies to residential works.
Every installation and repair is backed by a 10-year written workmanship guarantee covering defects in installation quality. The guarantee is provided in writing before works commence. It does not cover damage caused by subsequent works by other contractors, storm events beyond normal Irish weather conditions, or structural failure of the building.
Recommended Roofing carries €6.5 million public liability insurance and €13 million employer liability insurance through Zurich Insurance. Certificates are available on request.
The client is responsible for ensuring safe access to the property for the duration of the works. Parking for our vehicles within a reasonable distance of the property is required.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts. In the first instance, disputes should be directed to [email protected] — we aim to resolve all complaints within 5 working days.
